The General Applications of Hydrocarobn Reisns

Properties and functions of Hydrocarbon Resins in different fields.

Hydrocarbon Resin C9 are used in Paint.

Paints mainly use C9 Hydrocarbon Resin,DCPD HydrocarbonResin and C5/C9 Copolymerized Hydrocarbon Resin with high Softening Point 120.Hydrocarbon Resins can increase the final finishes of paints,the adhesiveness of paints films,the hardness and resistance to acid alkaline.

Hydrocarbon Resin C9 are used in Printing Ink.

Usually,the C9 Hydrocarbon Resin and DCPD Hydrocarbon Resin which have high Softening Point are used for printing inks,they have color-spreading,fast-dry and brightening effects and will increase the printing property.

Hydrocarbon Resin C5 are used in Adhesives or Materials based on Adhesives.

Hydrocarbon Resin itself has very good adhesiveness,they can strengthen the adhesiveness of adhesives,resistance to acid,alkaline and water,they will reduce the production cost.

Hydrocarbon Resin C5,C9 and C5/C9 Copolymerization are used in Rubber and Tyre.

C5 Hydrocarbon Resin,C5/C9 Copolymerized Hydrocarbon Resin and DCPD Hydrocarbon Resins with low Softening Point are mainly used with rubbers which kinds have good mutual solubility with rubber particles,no influence on the sulphuration of rubber. Rubbers added with Petroleum Resins will increase the strength,adhesiveness and softening characters.

Hydrocarbon Resin are used in other fields.

Hydrocarbon Resins have a certain unsaturation Property and can be used as paper glutting agents,plastic modifiers etc.
