What's the used fields of the Petroleum Resin

Properties and functions of Petroleum Resins in different fields.

C9 Petroleum Resin 120 Series are usually used in Paint.

Paints mainly use C9 Petroleum Resin,DCPD Petroleum Resin and C5/C9 Copolymerized Hydrocarbon Resin with high Softening Point 120.Hydrocarbon Resins can increase the final finishes of paints,the adhesiveness of paints films,the hardness and resistance to acid alkaline.

Petroleum Resin C9-140 series rsin are used in Printing Ink.

Usually,the C9 Petroleum Resin and DCPD Petroleum Resin which have high Softening Point from 130 to 140 are used for printing inks,they have color-spreading,fast-dry and brightening effects and will increase the printing property.

Petroleum Resin C5 are used in Adhesives or Chemicals based on Adhesives as Tackifier Resin.

Petroleum Resin itself has very good adhesiveness,they can strengthen the adhesiveness of adhesives,resistance to acid,alkaline and water,they will reduce the production cost.

Petroleum Resin C5,C9 and C5/C9 Copolymerization Resin are used in Rubber and Tyre.

C5 Petroleum Resin,C5/C9 Copolymerized Petroleum Resin and DCPD Petroleum Resins with low Softening Point are mainly used with rubbers which kinds have good mutual solubility with rubber particles,no influence on the sulphuration of rubber. Rubbers added with Petroleum Resins will increase the strength,adhesiveness and softening characters.

Petroleum Resin are used in other fields.

Petroleum Resins have a certain unsaturation Property and can be used as paper glutting agents,plastic modifiers etc.
